I love food. However, it’s been more of a love/hate relationship my entire life as it relates to my weight. I’m an emotional eater. If I’m stressed, tired, bored, sad, happy, etc. I eat. To top it off, I’m addicted to carbs and one of my favorite hobbies is to bake. My weight has been a struggle for me as long as I can remember.
I have dabbled with vegetarian and vegan lifestyles for several years. I can’t label myself “vegan,” but I do enjoy trying vegan recipes.
My family is definitely of the meat & potatoes variety as no meal would be complete without some form of meat. So, I get a lot of questions and criticism regarding what I eat. I love trying new recipes and things that may not be considered “mainstream.” So, my title is a nod to that questioning of what I eat.
I’m still figuring out my place in the blog world. I think I’ll finally land somewhere in the healthy/vegetarian realm. Thanks for checking out my page.
